Partridge, Frances Jean...passed away peacefully at the Warkworth Community Nursing Home on Sunday, July 20, 2014 in her 95th year. Born October 17, 1919 to the late Clarence and Winnifred (Armstrong) Potter, Jean was a life-long resident of Warkworth. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Donald Partridge (1998) and her three brothers Marwood, Jack, and Bob Potter. Dear mother, homemaker, gardener, and quilter, Jean was happiest at home with her family. She will be greatly missed by her four children Ken (Brenda), Warkworth, Ron (Maureen), Peterborough, Janet (Paul), Markham and Joan, Maple Ridge, B.C.; her grandchildren Steven, Shawn, Shelley, Michael, Grant, Jennifer, Melissa and Stephanie as well as several great grandchildren. Jean will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Evelyn Potter Smith, many nieces and one nephew. The family thanks the Warkworth Community Nursing Home staff for their excellent care. Special thanks to her nieces who have always been such an important part of their Aunt Jean’s life. Family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Warkworth on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2-3 pm with funeral ceremony to follow at 3 pm.
