Peacefully Art Reid passed away at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital following a brave battle with cancer. He was the much loved Husband of Judy, loving Father to: John, Michael, Brian, Sean, Andrew and David; Brother to Kaireen, and a beloved Papa by many. Throughout his career Art served the public as the Fire Chief, Police Chief and Ambulance driver within the Hastings community. After stepping down as the last one man police force in Ontario he went on to serve with the O.P.P. of Northumberland County for 23 years. Art will be remembered by many for his unique and compassionate style of policing. Please join Art's family in a celebration of his life on Saturday November 1st at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #103 Campbellford from 1-3pm with a moment of remembrance at 2pm.
