SKINNER, Doris Mary (nee Pettifer). Passed away peacefully at the Community Nursing Home Warkworth on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Doris Skinner of Warkworth in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Elgin Skinner. Dear mother to Cecil Skinner and Cynthia Skinner. Grandma to Edmundo, Michael, Michele. Great-grandma to Carlina, Annabella, Tristan and Payden. Much loved Aunt to Kim Pettifer of Vancouver and Shirley Pettifer of Montreal. Sister-in-law to Freda Pettifer (Harry). Predeceased by her nine siblings and her cherished nephews Neil George and Hartley who she helped raise. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home - Warkworth Chapel, 70 Church Street, on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 10 AM until 11 AM with the Service to follow in the Chapel at 11 AM. Light refreshments will be served following the Service. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Campbellford at 1:00 PM. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
