Sjostrom, Melvin "Mel" ... Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his home on Monday November 17th, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine Sjostrom. Loving father of his daughter Julie Pietrasiak & his son Terry Sjostrom, Julie's husband Phil Pietrasiak and Terry's fiancé Lynn McAlister. Dear grandfather of Christian, Ryan, Chloe and Zachary. Fondly remembered by Sylvia Hickey. Predeceased by his parents Olaf & Edith Sjostrom, his brothers Norman & Carl and sisters Ester & Mabel. The family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home - West Chapel, 170 Dundas St., Trenton on Thursday November 20th, 2014 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, 8 John St., Trenton on Friday November 21st, 2014 at 11 am. Rev. Steve Timpson officiating. Interment at St. George's Cemetery.
