Obituary for Shirley Ann Braniff (Luther)
BRANIFF, Shirley Ann
Passed away peacefully at age 77, on Monday, October 13th, 2014, with family at her side, and after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is lovingly remembered by three sons: Stephen (Wendy) of Guelph, Ontario, Michael (Peggy) of Trenton, Ontario, and Gary (Francine) of Calgary, Alberta, as well as one daughter, Susan English of Stirling, Ontario. Beloved Nana to six grandchildren: Damien, Hilary, John Lee, Christian, Zachary and Joshua. Shirley spent her career teaching, having spent many years at Stockdale Public School in Frankford up until her retirement. Arrangements entrusted to Weaver Family Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and at Shirley’s request, there will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be most appreciated.
